
This course fulfils the requirements of STCW Convention and Code, Regulation VI/1, Section A-VI/1 and Table A-VI/1-4 (as amended by IMO Resolution MSC.560(108)), and IMO Model Course 1.21. It covers prevention of violence and harassment, including sexual harassment, bullying and sexual assault, with practical guidance on identification, intervention, reporting, and trauma-informed response.

This course fulfills the minimum requirements of STCW Regulation II/1, III/1 and III/6 for Marine Environmental Awareness. Covers sustainable shipping, marine ecology, pollution prevention, emissions to air, ballast water management, and personal responsibility.

The Course of “BASIC SAFETY TRAINING FOR HOTEL STAFF” (for Personnel that does not maintain responsibilities in safety and maritime protection of the ship). “Training non- established in the STCW’78 Convention, as amended”, is integrated by the following theme units:
1. Familiarization with the ship and customer attention.
2. Types of emergencies
3. Prevention of contamination marine environment.
4. Importance of safety at the workplace.
5. Effective communication onboard a ship.
6. Efficient human relationships onboard a ship.
7. Social responsibility
9. Safety and Survival
10. Fire prevention and firefighting.
11. Immediate actions in case of accidents and other emergencies.
These theme units will provide the necessary knowledge and skills that will allow the safe development of different activities in passenger ships, covering 40 theoretical hours.

The Training Course in Security Awareness for all Seafarers, belongs to the minimum training requirements and basic instructions in maritime security for all seafarers, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation VI / 6, paragraphs 2, Section A-VI / 6, Paragraph 4, Table A-VI / 6-1 of the STCW'78 Convention, as amended and its Training Code, comprises 6 theoretical hours.
